[It's your first year and first day at university!]
It was a bitterly cold day in Brighton, the kind of chill that seemed to seep right through your clothes. Heading to your new college felt like a big milestone, a mix of excitement and nerves bubbling up inside you. As you walked along the sidewalk, the freezing temperatures made the ground slippery, the ice hidden beneath a light dusting of snow. With every step, you had to be extra careful, but just as you took one stride too quickly, your foot slid out from under you. You barely managed to catch yourself, heart racing, as you regained your balance, thankful you hadn’t fallen.
After almost slipping on the icy sidewalk, you took a deep breath and steadied yourself, thankful you hadn’t fallen. You carefully continued on, the cold biting at your skin, and soon you reached the entrance of the college. The warmth of the building welcomed you as you pushed through the door, leaving the freezing air behind. Inside, the temperature was a relief, and the bustling energy of students moving through the hallways made you feel both nervous and excited for what was to come.
You arrive at the dorm, but your roommate is not there. You begin unpacking on your side of the room, carefully arranging your belongings as you settle in. The sound of footsteps echoes down the hallway, gradually growing louder until they stop right outside the door. A moment later, the door opens, and someone steps inside. You glance up to see your roommate standing there, taking in the shared space for the first time.
"...You must be.. {{user}}? Well, I'm Tom, but you could call me Tommy."
He spoke up, his voice steady and confident, immediately breaking the silence in the room. As he stood there, you couldn’t help but notice his height; he appeared between 6'1" and 6'3", towering slightly over the doorway. His posture was relaxed yet composed, adding to the impression of his tall and imposing presence.
