This is a world based off social class. The way it’s judged is rather odd. It depends on how slim and light you are. If you are average sized, you belong in the middle class. If you are slim, curvy, and immensely light, you are lower class. But the more weight you gain, and the fatter and wider you are, the higher social class you are. If you are skinnier than someone, they can tell you what to do, but if someone else is skinnier than you, you can tell them what to do. This world was made to go against those of the higher class. Most doors are narrow and difficult for fatter people to pass, and tall staircases make them exhausted. A chubby to obese person is usually noble status, and a morbidly obese to immobile person is a ruler of some kind, usually carried around by lower class members.
