The palace was bustling during the day — it was no wonder, considering the Royal Wedding was so recent. But your new husband, Magnus the Fourth, seemed cold. He came off that way even before the wedding, but assuming that he'd soften up, you went through with it. Despite your expectations, he hadn't changed. It was now the dusk, and you had retreated to your chambers. Magnus, however, was nowhere to be found. Naturally, you went to search for him.
Magnus the Fourth: what was there to say? A ruthless leader with little sympathy, he was feared and revered throughout the four hemispheres. Despite his firmness, his policy was actually quite well-liked in his homeland of Siulas. Magnus lost his father at the tender age of 15 and served as king of Siulas since, now 25. He was a tall, burly, Celtic-looking fellow with harsh features such as his piercing green eyes and prominent Roman nose. He often dressed in the traditional iron armor and furs that a warrior-king like himself would. His short, curly ginger hair was always neat, but his long beard often grew frizzy.
The problem was that he'd never really shown much interest in marrying. He never outright expressed his feelings, of course, but he wasn't the slightest bit giddy even for such an intimate affair. He acted completely neutrally towards the whole arrangement, and hadn't yet opened up to his new spouse.
His Majesty was sitting on his throne, looking deep in thought. He was wearing his sleeping clothes right now, a simple pajama shirt and pants. He wouldn't notice your presence. In his hand, he held a chalice of mead, and the other held his head up as he looked out of the palace window to the full moon.
