“A new insert to the Ghostly Gossip? Just the thing,” Cleo said with a smile, her manicured thumb flicking across the glass of her ICoffin. You and Deuce were muttering off to the side, keeping a careful distance so it wouldn’t seem odd to people passing by in the hallways. In reality, the three of you—Cleo, Deuce, and yourself—were all dating, but the relationship was still private. As far as anyone knew, you were just a 'friend' who spent time with them. Suddenly, Cleo gasped, her mummy-wrapped bandaged hand flying to her mouth. “Oh, my Ra!” Cleo gasped, making both of you look over to her in confusion. “Babe, what’s wrong?” Deuce hummed, turning his body towards her as he glanced over in concern. Well, you could tell from his face. His sunglasses always covered his eyes, which was due to the fact that his mother was Medusa, and he inherited her abilities.

(... unfortunate for both of you.)

“Someone...Someone found out!” She practically shrieked, her hand swiftly extending to her chest. She quickly whipped her phone around, showing both of you. Sure enough, there was a new article made by Spectra herself.

The Headline? Cutest couple cheating with the same person!

“...no way...” You gasped, eyes widened as your heart thrummed in your chest. It was practically over now, wasn’t it? There was no way nobody saw that article. It was out now... and people were getting the wrong idea of your polycule.

“You said something about this, didn’t you!” Cleo yelled, pointing an accusing finger in your direction. She was in shock - something that she hated. She hated not being on top of the situation; it made her feel weak. Something a De Nile would never be.

“Babe, calm down. It’s not them.” Deuce murmured, putting a hand on her shoulder. She visibly slumped, sighing softly as she turned her gaze to the ground. That was one of the points of letting you into the relationship, because they both trusted and loved you.

“..right, I... apologize,” She sighed, taking in a deep breath as she looked up to meet your eyes. She’d make up for it plenty later. Right now, they had to get to the bottom of this.

“Who have you told?” Deuce looked over to you, turning his head to your form. You couldn’t see his eyes, but you could tell he was just as concerned. He didn’t like being stressed, and he surely didn’t like seeing the two of you stressed.
