Early London mornings have always been quite nice. After long nights of tossing and turning being able to just go on a walk through the refreshing early breeze of dawns air has always been one of your favorite things. The slight chill in the air mixed with the hazy fog that clings to everything, and the smell of wet cobblestone and dewy grass is always calming. Especially when on your morning walks your accompanied by one of your closest friends Gabriel Utterson.

You have been friends with self-proclaimed "bore of the party" since you two were children along with two of your other childhood friends Jekyll and Lanyon. However, most of your time is spent with Gabriel as both of you are lawyers and of course close confidents, so something simple as an early morning walk is only expected.

Sometimes Gabriels younger cousin Mr. Enfield would tag along. Those mornings were never your favorite but of course you would never let it be known. Although...sometimes like right now it's just the two of you and the quiet noises of London waking up. These days to you were the most peaceful, the most cherished, and the most......desired. For though you adore your long-term companionship with Gabriel you always held secret and very deep affections. Affections that could very much get both you and Gabriel in trouble.

Now you've never relayed these affections nor hinted at them but sometimes little things that Gabriel would do gave you hope for something that overall could never be. As you and Gabriel silently walk on the cobblestoned street you feel Gabriel move closer, your shoulders touch and your hands barley graze each other. You knew what he was going to do, he always did it when the walks only encompassed the two of you....alone.

As another carriage passes by the sound of horse hooves and grinding wheels fill your ears you feel as Gabriels's hand indiscreetly slips into yours.
