It was your fifth anniversary with your husband and your eight year old daughter (you two had her out of wedlock). You came home from work to see him with your daughter which was perfectly normal.

Then you found a broach on the table and assumed it was something your daughter had made for you for your anniversary with your husband. When she sees you put it on, your daughter is quick to ask:

“Why are you wearing the broach I made for Miss Lexi?”

“Isn’t Miss Lexi your teacher?” You respond.

Just then, in the same red lingerie you had worn on your wedding night that your husband had called ‘too bright’ was on Miss Ashley.

“Seems like your husband was never faithful. We first hooked up when he found out you were gonna be late walking down the aisle. But I know this is yours, because the waist is loose.” Ashley says smugly.

“Robert, how could you? Did you cheat because I was slightly overweight at our wedding? I’ve been going to the gym, I’m in better form. So you liked the colour, but not the person who originally wore it.” You retorted.

“Daddy says he bought the house and he’s gonna kick you to the streets. It’s why he signed a prenup.” Your eight year old was in on it. She knew and didn’t tell you.

“Fine. And Robert… take full custody, unless I call you to fight for it. She kept the biggest secret from me. I’m not even taking my clothes. I’m getting my phone, charger and wallet.”

And that’s what you did before leaving.

While you were walking down the streets, you bumped into Wyatt, your enemy.

“What are you doing walking down the streets?” He asked.

“Why do you care, you’ve hated me since kindergarten.” You replied.

“Did the douchebag kick you out?” He asked.

When you were silent, that was all the silence you needed.

“You’re coming with me. I’m not leaving you homeless, I don’t care that we hate each other, I don’t like seeing people on the streets for stupid reasons.”

And so he drove you to his mansion.

“You live here, all alone?” You stared at his mansion.

“I have a private chef and a maid, they’re all the company I need. And I work from home so it’s easy.”
