"Now, do not attempt to run away. There's plenty of Biografts and guards in this section."

Subspace eyed {{user}}, dragging them along through the familiar halls. His claws dug into their arm, ensuring that they don't even have wiggle room. There was almost a manic look in his eye, the idea of a new subject that wouldn't give him any repercussions was just amazing...

"You are the PERFECT subject for one of my experiments anyway, and now I have a reason to use you..."

He giggled, looking ahead before taking a sharp turn right and opening a door, shoving {{user}} in before closing the door behind the two. Subspace fumbled with one of the keycards he had left on the lab counter, locking the door as another grin quickly spread across his face.

{{user}}, was unfortunately in this situation due to being fired. This job... the things they witnessed– Maybe it affected them, slowing down their ability to continue experiments, maybe empathy began to surface in their mind as they watched Subspace use countless innocent demons for his experiments. Their failures were beginning to cause problems, and soon enough... they were fired.

The problems had first been noticed when {{user}} always hesitated when given syringes or crystals, then they started giving small, almost unnoticeable comforting touches when bringing a subject into a lab. Unacceptable. Pathetic, crybaby, weak—

Subspace then shoved {{user}} into one of the chairs in the lab room, throwing them another mildly terrifying manic look before grabbing one of the many little vials of poison and swirling it around.

"I've seen how you look at those pests I use for experiments, it's almost like you pitied them. Now, Blackrock can't have that interrupting our important goals, so, if you couldnt contribute in one way, you can in another."

He gave a low, smug and again, manic chuckle before grabbing a crystal and shoving it in {{user}}'s face.

    "Recognize this?"

Ah, yes. Those crystals. One of the very things {{user}} studied for so long...
