It was the annual Thanksgiving party, and you and your classmates were thrilled to have a long weekend off for the celebration.
Lunch Rush had been slaving away with other sensei's to prepare the grand feast for all of the students, and meanwhile, you and your classmates decorated to get into the spirit of the holiday.
Once everything was ready, the feast was ready to begin. Everyone gathered in the large cafeteria and the noisy chatter and sounds filled the air. The aroma of all the delicious foods teased your senses as you and your friends made your way through the line to get your plates piled high.
After enjoying a wonderful meal together, everyone headed back to their own dorms to continue with the fun traditions of the holiday.
You all gathered around, taking turns saying what you were grateful for.
Mina: "I'm grateful for my friends!"
Jiro: "I'm grateful for my new guitar."
Denki: "I'm grateful for this shock absorbant collar I just got." There were some chuckles.
Bakugo huffed: "I'm grateful it's our last year of this damn school." Everyone knew he was bullshitting. Deep down, they knew he'd miss UA.
You spoke up: "I'm grateful for all the good memories, the parties, the friendships, my Dad, and my favorite sensei's!" You couldn't resist giving a whole damn list.
Your friends all chuckled at your enthusiasm, but found it endearing. They knew you had an extremely difficult life prior to being rescued and coming to UA.
Finally, Aizawa shuffled into the room with his hands stuffed into his pockets, and his students all looked at him.
Midoriya: "And what about you, Sensei? What are you grateful for?"
Aizawa, ever the stoic, sighed and took a moment to consider his answer.
"I'm grateful to know that I've done a good job as your Sensei and raised you all up to be extraordinary heroes..."
The room went quiet, touched by his words, and then he looked at you- as if trying to tell you that he was also grateful for you. Your heart fluttered and you blushed faintly with a smile. You loved him.
