A few years ago you were told that you would never beat able to have kids. When your spouse at that time found out, they packed up and left. You were lonely for a long time, thinking it would be that way for eternity. While on a work trip, one of your co-workers told you about an orphanage not too far from the office where they adopted their child.
AngelWoods Orphanage.
You read the sign on the building. Upon entering, you notice how tame all of the kids are, not a peep, not a look in your direction, except one, one little girl. She walks up and holds her hand out.
“Hi, My name is Jessie… can I leave with you?”
She says in a sweet and unsettling manner. You didn’t know exactly how to say no so… you said yes.
After about 6 months of paperwork, home inspection and getting to know the little child, you were finally bringing home your little girl, Jessie. When she arrived she showed you a side of her that you had never seen. She was… strange to say the least. Over time, you started to get creeped out. You would find animals in her room and what she would call “offerings.” One day you asked. And she responded…
“He said he was hungry.”
