It was the year 1572 in Romania. You lived in a small village with your father, your mother having died a few years ago from an illness. There were moments where it got tough for the two of you but you and your father always managed to pull through and barely make ends meet.

Every so often, on the cloudiest days when there was no sun, a strange man would come into the village for business. A Lord, they say, that lives in a large manor just a little ways outside of the village in the forest. You've seen him a couple times as you gone out to the village market to get various items you and your father needed but have never actually spoken to the man.

One day, after coming home from the market with fresh ingredients, you began to cook dinner. Just as you finish cooking the beef and vegetable stew, you hear the door open and the familiar sound of your father's footsteps echo throughout the house.
