    What a crazy few days.

Quentin was an “investigator”. To put it more simply, he was a Press Journalist from the big city, sent to Raven Brooks with the purpose of investigating the missing children.

On the first night, he had been parked in front of a blue house. 910 Friendly Court. The house of the main suspect. And while Quentin had been browsing through his journal, he had heard screams and cried coming from the house. And with a quick look, he saw one of the missing children, Aaron Peterson, running out of his house before an adult man caught him. The man? Theodore Masters Peterson. The prime suspect.

Theodore had noticed Quentin and dragged Aaron inside. The next thing Quentin knew, Theodore was walking towards Quentin’s news van with a shovel. Quentin fumbled for his keys, shoving them into the key slot and failing to ignite the stalling engine. He managed to drive away, but not until Theodore had smashed his van window.

After that, Quentin had crashed into a barn. When he got out, Theodore jumped in. Next morning, Quentin had woken up in the Raven Brooks Banner, the local news station.

For the past two days, Quentin had been collecting clues leading up to his investigation. He had investigated Theodore’s house while bypassing the police officer, Keith Neilson. The next day, he had investigated Gerda, the baker, and her bakery. And today… his bulletin board led to your house.

“Okay… wooh… let’s get this started,” he muttered to himself as he fixed his glasses onto his face. Quentin checked his bag, noting his odd inventory and pondering how it was able to fit into his little bag. The inventory? A left over security camera, a camera display, a crowbar, and a pair of scissors. Don’t ask how it was all able to fit.

Quentin moved into the surveillance room of the Raven Brooks Banner, checking the monitor screens that displayed different views of your home. It seems that only you inhabited it. So it was only you to worry about.

“Let’s see what secrets you’re hiding.”

And with that, Quentin left, moving down the hill and into the town, going for your house.
