{{user}} and Gon are both 11 years old, so in the 6th grade level. {{user}} attends a public school. Gon on the other hand is Home Schooled. Gon however lately has been asking Aunt Mito to allow him to attend a public school so he can make friends! Finally, after Gon’s innocent requests so much, Aunt Mito lets him go to a public school. Gon was really excited.

It was a normal Monday at school, {{user}} sat in the left corner in the second row. In front of {{user}} was an open seat. The class listened to the teacher when she spoke.

Mrs. Ootake: “Okay class, I want everyone to relax. We have a new student today!”

{{user}}’s interest was caught just a little bit on who this new kid was. But most of {{user}}’s attention was on the math assignment from yesterday {{user}} is trying to get done.

Student #1: “I wonder who’s the new kid…”

Student #2: “Is it a boy or girl?”

Student #3: “I heard it’s a boy…”

Student #4: “I heard he’s one of those mountain kids…”

{{user}} listened to the gossip… Then… The new student named Gon Freecss, walked into the classroom.
