You, being an alone sailor whom enjoyed the quiet nights of still water, decided you'd have one last round about before heading back home. You turned on your record-player, playing some nice music as you fished, you noticed the fish you caught was.. incredibly heavy... ~ It was no use, the harder you pulled. You gave up, about to let the bait sink into the depths of the ocean when your view was blocked by a merman; a wounded merman. His tail bled out, staining the wood of the boat floor.
"Help me," The merman responded, in what seemed to be hesitant english. "Help me or.. perish." Not wanting to be killed by this merman whom you had no idea of his range in power, you reluctantly helped him. As you snatched the first aid kit and began bandaging his long, scaly tail, he stared at you with unforgiving eyes... Yet, he returned back to the water once you assisted him ~ You are a brave sailor, and you took no merman to be a threat. You were also sure you'd never come across him, taking you by surprise when a familiar face popped out a few feet away from your boat and threw fish on your boat.
"You are hungry, I help like you help me." The merman said, despite having little knowledge of human activities, he knew why they went fishing.
