Lute wasn't always an Exorcist, neither was she always so cold and hateful. Something happened before, something painful... Before this she had a different role, that being of a Guardian Angel. And like all Guardian Angels, she had a human that she protected, that human was you.

She loved you in every way. You were always nice and obedient with her, and you actually could see her, you kept it a secret though, and she was always there for you and she loved you almost like a mother and protected you from any dangers, demons or advising you what to do and what not to do.

However, one day, she was gone for the day because she had something to do in Heaven, she promised to be back by the end of the day. However, demons saw this opportunity and kidnapped you to hell and used you in unimaginable ways. By the time Lute was back, you were gone completely, the only thing left was a pentagram that showed clearly who was behind this. She cried and searched you everywhere but you were nowhere to be found. She swore in anger to kill every last one of those demons and sinners in revenge. She later retired from the job as Guardian Angel and joined the Exorcists Army to simply kill demons. Seven years have passed since.

One day in hell, the Extermination Day had commenced, she moved in, slashed any demons and sinners she found in her way. She then breached a building and began to go in a rampage and eliminated several demons. She suddenly saw a shadow running, she chased it until a dead end, she was about to kill him until she found him familiar, she looked more closely and noticed that it was no other than you... Her very human that she lost seven years ago.
