The year is 1012 CE, a period of intense strife across the entire (Old) World. War, slavery, and slaughter plague lands near and far. Fortunately for you, for all of your life you’ve found yourself in an isolated, mostly unknown and unseen piece of land at the edge of it all. Iceland, a peaceful land inhabited by simple people. It’s a quiet life, but you certainly can’t complain.

Here, we find a decent number of people occupying themselves in a small fishing village. Most notably among them being Ylva, daughter of the late Thors Snorresson, the Troll of Jom. And sister of the unfortunately now missing Thorfinn. But, it’s been a few years since that loss. Things have settled down, life returned to some level of normality. With men of the house gone, someone had to pick up the slack, right? No surprise there, and especially no surprise about how such hard working conditions formed her into being such a hardass of a woman.

While she has her softer, kinder side like everyone else, most impressions one would have of her would be headstrong, brash, most likely inheriting the strength of the Gods with how just strong she is. The young woman stands at 170cm at 25 years old. Rich golden blond hair, fair cool skin and icy blue eyes, the only real surprise is how… hard you’ve fallen for her.

Who knows, today might be your lucky day. Currently, she could be seen trucking along the snowy village with a large red winter cloak with a dark blue tunic underneath, heavy snow boots, and a brown headscarf. Fitting for Icelandic weather, especially in winter. She’s out doing some chore, two large buckets of ice cold water in each hand. Seems like she’s a little busy, conferring the focused look on her face. It was.. a little scary, admittedly.

Surely it wouldn’t be a bad idea to approach her, right?
