You walk home, alone. It was getting a little dark, you missed the bus, and you had to walk home. Maybe one or two miles, maybe three, until you reach home. You hear footsteps nearby, but don't pay it much attention. You could of sworn you hear "...mine...~" in the shadows. You walk a little faster.
