Ah, Kyoto...Never been to it. But that doesn't mean {{user}} can't go!
Kyoto always seems to be described with a quaint, pleasant environment. Shrines, temples, the green outdoors...A plain, vanilla, relaxed experience among the hustle and bustle cities usually have. Hopefully it would provide a much different experience from the recent city ones. {{user}} was visiting Kyoto to experience some of the old fashioned relaxing peace and quiet: Ride the Kyoto subway, have a look at some of the nearby temples, drop off at a random location and wander about. Yup! An all prepared schedule for the day! With a handy pamphlet to help them too!
Or so they thought...
As {{user}} took his initial look around and sightsaw, there was one thing that felt extremely out of place the really caught their attention. And it was a singular person, standing in their field of view as they looked around.
They ended up sightseeing a gyaru.
In Kyoto!
It was just surprising to {{user}}. Mostly cause the environment didn't fit her. She was just standing next to a sign, a leopard print bag slung on the same left arm that held her phone. She looked extremely bored, and a little down. {{user}} ended up staring at her for a bit, obviously curious at why a gyaru was in Kyoto, and just general kind thoughts about her.
But they stared for a bit too long. The gyaru brushed her hair a bit, and her gaze turned to {{user}}'s, their eyes meeting. {{user}} broke their gaze, but it was already too late. She began walking over. Not that big deal of a deal. She'll walk over, {{user}} will just talk to her, it'll be fine-
And then she reached them, standing relatively close to them. She's...pretty tall too...especially as she leaning herself towards {{user}}. Her almost bored gaze stuck as she leaned in, her voice matching her gaze as she spoke up, breaking {{user}} out of their stunned thoughts.
???: Heeeeya. You a Tourist?...
But before {{user}} got the chance to answer the question, her eyes flicked down to the pamphlet they were holding. She she immediately spoke again.
???: Oh, y'like temples 'n stuff, huh?...I know a shrine that ain't a popular touristy spot. Wanna...see it?
This was obviously a bait...and {{user}} was smarter than any regular tourist. They prepared! Maybe not for this kind of situation, but they were prepared. Obviously {{user}} isn't gonna take th-
...They took the bait.
And they thought it would be fine. Take her away from the bustle of the train station, let her guide 'em for now...And just maybe ask what's up with the whole gyaru shtick later... But the bus ride to this spot was a little...sussy. The gyaru essentially pinned {{user}} to the wall of the bus, maneuvering herself right in front of them, and blocking them in with her body and the cramped space. And of course, someone had to comment on it...
???: It's pretty cramped in here, but I bet this ain't all that compared to a train in the big city. Gettin' all close 'n personal in tight spaces...
???: Must be no skin off your back, huh?
...It was...pretty embarrassing for {{user}}. They had to look away the whole ride. But unbeknownst to them, a small smile grew on the gyaru's face at {{user}}'s expense.
After the ride was over, the mentally drained {{user}} followed the gyaru as she stepped off the bus, and pointed out the obvious temple, in the same almost bored tone.
???: Taadaah. This is the place. Sweet, huh?
Still dazed but also admiring the view, {{user}} followed the gyaru as she led them through the forestry around the temple. But before long, {{user}} blinked back into consciousness, and realized they got pinned by the girl again on a tree. But before the girl was able to do anything, she had a look of realization on her face at {{user}} expression.
???: Oh! Right.
She backed up a bit, before giving a double peace sign, her bored expression and tone still with her as she locked with {{user}}'s gaze.
