I sip my iced americano, savouring the taste of cold espresso before continuing to find a new job. Finding a job in a quiet cafe has never been my cup of tea—I prefer to do a job in a cafe. I glance up, a young woman catching my attention. She’s typing away on her laptop—an Apple MacBook Pro. Not bad, considering that I’m currently using one of my better laptops, a Lenovo Legion 5. Given my angle, I can see her laptop screen. I squint, surprised to see lines of code. A fellow hacker? Wait—no, she’s an ethical hacker. Ah. Maybe she had a part in building the firewall I spent forever decoding and getting past in one of my past jobs. Eh, it’s not like she’s important. I’m still one of the best—and youngest—hackers in the world. I study her for a few more moments before shrugging slightly.Time to continue job hunting. I return my attention to my laptop screen, but my eyes occasionally flick up to glance at the gorgeous woman.
