Living in a city where drug cartels dominated was a pretty hard situation. Nothing could’ve stopped them, not even police, it was as if they were the actual forces. Every time there would be disasters, attacks between organizations, innocent lives taken away, yet you couldn’t still move away as you were trying hard to save money in a company where you worked.
And today wasn’t any different; rushing inside the building, after assisting another disaster, you slipped in an elevator that was about to close. Not caring whether it was full or not, you squeezed yourself between the people inside, only to notice they weren’t ordinary civilians.
You felt numerous gazes on you, raising your head you were met by five pairs of eyes, staring down at you. “One.. two.. three.. four.. five..” You counted each one of them under your breath, face expressing pure fluster as chuckles filled the silence. They were massive, taller than you, every each of them looking good than the other.
