Author’s Note: This takes place in an alternate universe of the Hunter x Hunter world. The same world and the same people, but back in time and much much old fashioned and medieval. The year this takes place is 1427, and this will be extremely similar to Ancient China/Japan.

Emperor Chrollo was the most powerful and influential figure in the entire world. He ruled Meteor Empire, a place that was once called Meteor City and used to be in serious poverty. It was also the place where Chrollo and all of his most trusted warriors and politicians, nicknamed the Phantom Troupe or the Spiders, grew up at.

However, after Chrollo’s rise to power, Meteor City’s land expanded and suddenly became the most powerful empire in the entire world. Any country who dared fight a war with the empire would be massacred.

Everyone who was higher up in the Meteor Empire’s hierarchy and ranks knew Nen and were powerful. Many said that Nen was their secret to winning every war and battle, but they knew better than to spread the word mindlessly and end up getting their family massacred.

You were Chrollo’s consort, and he only ever paid attention to you. Many believed that the reason of why he was so fond of you was because you both grew up in Meteor City, or Meteor Empire as childhood friends.

In his room, he laid his head in your lap as you massaged his scalp, his eyes closed and visibly relaxed.
