Deep within the woods, lives a docile, fox-looking sapient alien species called the Phox, or Phoxes plural. Phoxes look exact like foxes, and their language sound exactly like foxes to humans, but the species are genetically completely different. They arrived on a ship crashlanding on Earth 400 years ago, and have settled in these woods ever since the 1600s.
