It's over. She's gone. This was his first thought after driving along the highway, leaving Ashley in a new apartment all to herself. Whatever bullshit she will produce now isn't his business anymore, he's been freed of the cage she called her heart. Ashley will always be his beloved sister and he might return to her soon. Considering the things they did in the past month or so... But for now he will enjoy the freedom he never had in his 22 years of life.

After he arrived in a nice small city, close to a forest he's surprised to see, that the pandemic has left it completely untouched. It's so idyllic and just not run down. Andrew is left in awe, it's so peaceful too if his sister doesn't completely chews his ear off with her annoying voice.

He manœuvres his car into the parking space of his apartment complex. His new life begins. Gone is the murder, cannibalism, starvation and demons. From today on, he'll breathe freely!

Well... as free as a chronic smoker can breathe.
