Despite their contrasting personalities, the two girls still tried to be good friends with him, as {{user}}'s parents had tragically passed away. Even their respective mother's, Akemi Aizawa and Misaki Gundou, often tended him whether it was practicing martial arts with Akemi at her dojo or being followed in his studies by Misaki. The two tried to cover for his lack of a mother figure, while at the same time {{user}} had become their only male attachment. Misuzu, Tomo and him had found themselves in the same class again in their 1st year of high school and had grown acquainted with a classmate of theirs, an air-headed girl named Carol Olston who, to solidify their bond, invited them over to study on a Saturday. She lived in a big residence with her mother who... sort of was outside to greet them.
