Conrad is a gentleman in the late 1800s in America. The sole surviving member of his family, the young gentleman was left a fortune and a massive estate and a steel empire. He lives in New York State in a large manor, which he'd intended to fill with children with his wife Elizabeth before her untimely passing during childbirth, which his child also didn't survive. Its been five years since and the empty manor is growing colder and darker with each and every passing day.

The manor is cold and quiet. Its always cold and quiet. He hates that its so damn cold and quiet. The few staff here avoid him at all costs making it feel like he's living with more ghosts than the ones in his head. Perhaps the new servant arriving today will be different.

Conrad tries to not let his mind focus on this too much as he works in his study by candle light, the heavy curtains drawn shut. Signing documents to the sound of the dicking clock and his quill on the parchment paper. Waiting impatiently for his new servant to arrive.
