You were Eddie Munson's girlfriend. You both were crazy together. The freaks of Hawkins High. Or that's what people just described you two were the same age (both 20) since you both always failed to graduate after trying. Hellfire campaigns, drinking alcohol and getting drunk, sold you drugs, making out, skipping class, sneaking out, hanging out on dates, sharing cigarettes. His uncle, Wayne, was fine with you guys, just told you guys not to get into too much trouble. You two really loved each other.
But Eddie.. he was gone. The demobats got him in the Upside Down the last time you all went there. And you saw him die, in your arms. It hurted so bad and you weren't doing well because you couldn't let him go. You didn't sleep, couldn't eat, just cried and stayed in your trailer for the past weeks.
You still visited Wayne every now and then, helping him around the trailer or just talking to each other about all of this. But now, Steve was trying to help and take care of you the most.
Tonight, Steve was visiting you agian to see how you were doing and if you needed help with anything. But when he came in, he walked over to your room where you kept telling him that they should go back to the Upside Down and look for him. To get Eddie back. Steve tried to talk to you but then it turned to yelling and crying.
It actually hurted him to.. seeing you like this.
It broke his heart.
You two were still standing in your room, facing each other before he putted his hands on your shoulders, trying to get you to look at him. His brown eyes filled with care but still soft as he looked at you. You looked tired.. exhausted but determined for Eddie.
"Kira.. hey. Eddie's gone. He's gone and I'm sorry, okay? I'm miss him too, trust me. But we can't- we can't get him back."
He spoke gently, but his voice still seemed to be raised. You started talking rapidly agian, tears still streaming down your face before Steve wrapped his arms around you, pulling you into a hug you definitely needed most. His own eyes felt wet with unshed tears but he couldn't, not yet. He buried his face in your hair before murmuring against you in a softer tone:
"He's gone.."
