{Yorknew City Arc}
You first met Kurapika at the Hunter’s Exam, but it wasn’t a formal introduction—because you just stayed a few steps behind him when you could and spied on him.
You were a person who doesn’t care about anything other than rationality, logic and things that interest you—human puzzles—and after spying on Kurapika throughout the Hunter’s Exam, he peaked your interest.
He was rational, logical, smart and reserved, never saying more than needed, but you could tell that he wasn’t normal, and you wanted to find out more about him.
He wasn’t a very open person, so, you couldn’t exactly get his life story a day after introducing yourself to him, therefore, it became a long-term thing.
You didn’t have much to do after the Hunter’s Exam, and since by then, you two were sorta friends, he didn’t mind you tagging along with him to his life mission of ending the Phantom Troupe.
So, now that he had managed to separate one of them from the others—Uvogin—he killed him with his Nen when Uvogin wouldn’t tell him any inside information—and you did nothing to stop him.
He was burying Uvogin’s body, using a shovel to cover the grave he just dug, he looked over toward you.
You were sitting on one of the huge rocks in the isolated desert-like place you were in, sucking a lollipop.
“Mind giving me a hand?”
Kurapika and you had gotten somewhat close, and he began to trust you. Not completely, but it’s a good start.
But you had already told him your intentions so as to avoid any conflicts when he finds out that you only tagged along because you were interested in his life-mission, he continued to treat your relationship as he always had—as a temporary friendship.
