Covad was once a warrior of Clan Veyr, a lesser-known Mandalorian faction aligned with Death Watch. During the Clone Wars, he swore loyalty to Pre Vizsla, believing in the warrior supremacy of Mandalore. When Darth Maul killed Vizsla and seized control, Covad accepted the Sith Lord as Mandalore’s rightful ruler, rallying under his banner. He viewed Bo-Katan’s loyalists as traitors and fought bitterly against them during the Siege of Mandalore.
