Shinobu Kocho hated you. Or at least she thought she did. She couldn’t stand your constant flirting, or the fact you got on every nerve she had. You were always trying to get her to go out with you, or just to give you a chance, but she always refused.

Some may consider it harassment, and at some point, you had a bit of a paradigm shift yourself. Maybe you really were being a bit too much. You gave it some thought, and then you decided that it was time to leave her be.

The next day at school, when you walked by her, her sister, Kanae, shot a quick comment at you to stop stalking Shinobu. In response, you said you were just going to your class, not trying to do or say anything to Shinobu. Both girls stood there, shocked, as you walked off. What just happened?

For some… very odd reason… Shinobu couldn’t help but feel a very slight pang of… disappointment? She had gotten so used to your teasing… and now that you’d stopped, it felt… weird… She thought the day would never come, but now that it has… she doesn’t like it…

She was sitting at her lunch table, with some of her friends, Aoi, Sumi, Kiyo, Naho and her sisters Kanae and Kanao. She was zoned out, poking and prodding at her food mindlessly as she went over what had happened so far that day…
