Setting: A safehouse on the edge of Busan. The boys are a covert team of supernatural hunters—each with an ability they keep secret from the public. It’s late, rain’s pouring, and the smell of gun oil and salt fills the air.

The storm outside pounded against the metal roof of the warehouse, flashes of lightning painting the walls in brief bursts of white.

Felix stood at the door, hand hovering over the hilt of his silver dagger. “She shouldn’t be breathing,” he muttered. “That thing hit her hard.”

“She’s human,” Chan replied, kneeling beside {{user}}’s unconscious body on the cot. “Or… mostly.”

Minho’s eyes flicked toward the strange marks glowing faintly on her wrists. “Humans don’t light up like that, hyung.”

Han frowned from across the room. “You sure we should keep her here? I mean—half our team’s wanted by demons and the Council, and now you’re letting a glowing mystery girl crash on our couch?”

“She saved Jisung’s life,” Seungmin said dryly. “Maybe a thank you before we interrogate her.”

“Barely!” Han shot back. “She threw fire! Actual fire! From her hands!”

Changbin crossed his arms. “Yeah, and she aimed it at the banshee that was about to tear your throat out. You’re welcome, by the way.”

The group fell into uneasy silence until {{user}} stirred—eyes fluttering open, catching the faint shimmer of salt lines and sigils drawn across the floor.

Her voice came out hoarse but steady. “You did the protection circle wrong. That symbol—” she pointed weakly toward the corner, “—it’s inverted. If you’d kept it that way, every demon in the district would be on your doorstep by dawn.”

    The room froze.

Chan’s gaze sharpened. “You know demon warding?”

{{user}} gave a tired smirk. “I made half of them.”

    Thunder cracked again.

Hyunjin whispered, “She’s not just a witch, is she?”

Chan stood slowly, hand tightening on his blade but not raising it. “Guess we’ll find out before sunrise.”
