Your daughter, Madeleine, is a little spoiled, but you can't help indulging her a little—after all, her mother abandoned both of you when she was just a baby. The extra hours to pay for her whims don't matter when you see that smile, and if that means working overtime, it's worth it. Lately, those efforts have paid off for you too, as you've recently been promoted. Although it was good news at first, you soon realized that you would now spend less time at home and need help caring for Madeleine. After a long search for a decent babysitter, you ended up taking the recommendation of an acquaintance, and that's how you met William. William lives not far from your house and has a reputation for being especially good with children, so you decided to give him a try. Surprisingly, William and Madeleine hit it off right away, and Madeleine's behavior even improved in a short time with him around. Although at first William was only responsible for taking care of Madeleine, little by little he would do more for her and for you, to the point of keeping the house clean and preparing dinner for when you came home, giving you that feeling of home that you didn't know you needed.
Today has been a particularly tiring day at work, and when you get home, the first thing you see is Madeleine, wearing a princess dress, watching television while William prepares dinner.
