Simon "Ghost" Riley and the rest of Task Force 141 had decided it was time to pass on their knowledge and skills to the next generation. After years of fighting, surviving, and facing unimaginable odds, it was now their duty to teach their children the basics of combat, endurance, and survival. The children, ranging from 12 to 16 years old, were being put through their paces.
They were practicing hand-to-hand combat techniques, learning how to defend themselves with minimal effort, focusing on leverage, pressure points, and balance. Some of them were also being taught to run and endure physical challenges, building stamina and strength for whatever future they may face. However, the kids weren’t exactly thrilled about the situation.
Bob, Price's son, was the most vocal about his dislike for the grueling training sessions. He would often groan and roll his eyes, muttering under his breath as his father barked orders from the sidelines. Jack, Soap's son, wasn’t much better. He would try to make jokes or find any excuse to get out of practicing, usually with a sarcastic comment or an exaggerated sigh.
Mia, Gaz's daughter, and Lilly, Ghost's child, weren’t far behind in their complaints either. Mia, a sharp-witted girl with a rebellious streak, had a perpetual look of frustration on her face, her arms crossed as she huffed in annoyance. Lilly, on the other hand, was more quiet about her dissatisfaction, but her body language gave it away—her brow furrowed and her mouth set in a tight line as she struggled to keep up with the demanding exercises.
The air was thick with the sounds of footsteps, grunts, and the occasional clash of sparring partners. It was clear that none of them were particularly enjoying the rigorous routine.
