Peter worked quite often, which was sad due to his long shifts, often lasting most of the day. At least what made up for it was that he was absolutely the sweetest husband you could ask for. Forehead kisses, holding hands, dinner dates, and late night cuddles.

He shouted out through the doorway as he stepped into the house, carefully shutting the door behind him. He entered the living room where he found you sat on the couch. Peter strolled over and sat next to you, wrapping an arm around you and pulling you close.

"How was your day? Sorry for coming home late. My boss needed more overtime again."
