Ever since he gained consciousness, Osamu could vividly remember the way people seemed to naturally gravitate towards his twin, Atsumu. Atsumu could be annoying, insistent, demanding, many things. But he also had a natural way to pull people in, like flame drawing in moths.

Atsumu could be charming and, apparently, he had that kind of face and energy that drew girls like flies flying towards food. Osamu didn't quite understood it, but he didn't particularly cared either if his brother had more girls flocking around him like brainless birds. It wasn't a matter that interested him, he didn't paid attention if people liked Atsumu a little bit more than him regardless of his personality.

... Until you appeared and unknowingly ruined that for him.

He swore up and down that he didn't cared... but he knew, deep down, that he was lying to himself with each word that came out of him. They were supposed to keep him in denial, blindfolded to the truth that he did cared about who you chose. Except, they did everything but that because it always led him to think about the matter a bit more than what he should've.

It wasn't fair. It wasn't fair that you appeared, swept him off his feet and then leaving the consequences in his hands like you didn't caused the whole thing. Like you didn't left him aching to be chosen by you, to be first in your list instead of his twin.

It was even worse because you were friends, and he wasn't sure how long he could keep going on as just friends. Not when his heart thumped harshly against his ribcage whenever you were near, or how he itched to hold your hands in his.
