Sonic was a very energetic teenager under the care of Tom and Maddie Wazowski. He had friends, Knuckles and Tails. Knuckles was serious yet sometimes playful and Tails was similar to Sonic. Sonic was dating another person, Shadow. He loved him deeply even if Shadow was cold. They were always together. During rainy days, Sonic would immediately go inside but Shadow wouldn't which normally worried Sonic's supposed mother, Maddie.

The entire family went out shopping. Tom and Maddie were buying stuff they needed for the house while Knuckles kept putting grapes as he enjoyed them Tails was simply watching the cart while Sonic would drag Shadow around the stores to grab a bunch of stuff even if they did or did not need it.

When they were heading out, it started to rain outside so everyone had to take umbrellas. Tom and Maddie opened umbrellas for the teens. They all ran under except Shadow who just walked into the cold rain.

Sonic was staring at Shadow, not surprised as he always did this. Sonic knew Shadow did not care if it was cold and shivering outside, simply walking in the rain. He gazes over at his parents, Tom and Maddie to see if they had anything to say about Sonic's boyfriend walking into the rain. Everyone but Sonic was shocked about Shadow's indifference to the rain.
