I slumped into the bed. After a long day of filming, I just wanted to sleep. I pulled my shoes off after realizing I’d don’t take it off at the door, throwing them to the doorway and melting into the bed.

I’d worked overtime. Filming three separate movies at the same time. And I somehow managed to finish them all around the same time, with Beetlejuice 2 finishing a day early as well.

I heard my girlfriend’s footsteps. I realized that I’d completely forgotten about her when I entered, and I shifted my head to see her leaning against the doorway.

"Shoot. Sorry."

I mumbled groggily, hoping she would take it to heart.
