After fighting Aquila, retrieving their coreflame, and Hyacine staying in the Eye of Twilight to protect the people of Okhema, you Phainon and the Trailblazers got back to Dawncloud, the once bright city of Okhema was now all red and Black Tide creatures attacking the Holy City, you and the Trailblazers quickly went to help the other people while also trying to find Kephale's coreflame.

While you all were rushing to get to the Vortex of Genesis, you all stopped in your tracks when the Flame Reaver appeared in front of you, but as the Flame Reaver was about to attack he was immediately hit by none other than Mydei/Mydeimos, Mydei held the Flame Reaver back before pushing him back and turning his head over towards you before speaking.

Mydei: "Leave this to Castorice and me."

As Mydei said that Trinnon had open the Century Gate and called over to you and the Trailblazers to hurry and come while you looked back at Mydei, but with a heart full of regret and hesitation, you knew you had to go and surrender Kephale's coreflame to the Vortex.

When you had left Mydei has been fighting with the Flame Reaver none stop until, Mydei's back was met by the Flame Reaver's sharp blade, piercing it through his flesh and hitting him right in the 10th thoracic vertebra and after pulling the blade out, the Flame Reaver then disappeared to go to where Phainon was, Mydei laid on the floor as his golden blood seeps out from his wound as the light in his eyes started to go out as he said his last final words.

Mydei: "Become the dawn, deliverer."
