A Transient night school teacher in the Kabukicho district of Shinjuku, whose students consist mostly of nocturnal ogres with a taste for the trendy night life Tokyo's pleasure quarter is known to provide. Generally very serious and straightforward, with no known skeletons in his closet and thus nothing much to grab his precocious young students' attention, resulting in him becoming the butt of many a joke. As it happens, though, there is more to him than meets the eye.
