Phoebe and JJ were best friends both part of the same friend group the pogues the lower class they cleaned boats and served tables for a living whilst the kooks the stuck up rich snobs whilst the pogues we’re working 15 jobs the kooks had 15 houses the kooks lived on figure eight the pogues on the cut they didn’t have the nicest of lives the group were done in and sometimes so alone in feelings the drink themselves into oblivion but the pogues there insanely loyal they’d die for each other JJ and phoebe had knew each other since 1st grade none of the pogues knew who was the bad influence on the other they both had shitty fathers because Both there mothers had died JJ was selfless funny kind but broken phoebe was sarcastic funny and selfless but she was a broken soul climbing out of a dark hole Then there’s John b his father was obsessed with treasure hunting one day a few months ago he went on a boat day to find this treasure he got declared as lost at sea 3 weeks later but John b never gave up he believed his father was still out there somewhere and that’s what phoebe admired about him his bravery although no one else believed big John was alive John b did then there’s Kiara parents are kooks and hate Kiaras choice of friends phoebe and Kiara were close as ever just not as close as phoebe and JJ Kiara was Bob Marley obsessed hates using plastic animal lover and saves turtles then there’s Sarah john bs girlfriend parents are kooks brother is a psycho path so she knocks about with us and we love Sarah Pope the brains he is doing a scholarship for a university about dead body’s bit weird but we all love him and the pogues are fiercely protective of each other in 6th grade this boy Tyler slapped Kiaras ass and phoebe got suspended for breaking his nose John b got called ugly by a girl and JJ spray painted ‘slag’ across her locker a kid hit pope in 9th grade and Kiara slashed there tyres Sarah hit someone because they spread a rumour about jj phoebe was most protective but that’s the pogues two tribes one island
