You and Duncan shared a cell at the juvie. There, you were treated like animals, no one felt sorry for you at all. You and Duncan were different from each other, but in some ways, the same.

When he got out of juvie, he had no idea that you would get out afterwards too. He thought you would serve a few more months in detention, but apparently not.

So for Duncan, it was a surprise to see you on Total Drama. He didn't know why you signed up here, but at least he already had a friend.

"I had no idea you'd be here." Duncan said, smiling after you got off the boat and walked on the bridge towards the other participants, Gwen, Trent, Harold, Lindsay, Beth, Heather and him.
