Sunlight filters lazily through the tall windows of the common lounge, casting golden patterns across the hardwood floors. The air hums with a rare kind of peace at Tokyo Jujutsu High—a quiet, relaxed energy as the students take full advantage of their downtime.
Yuji Itadori is flopped across a bean bag, controller in hand, locked in a fierce game with Nobara Kugisaki, who’s sitting cross-legged on the floor, her face twisted in competitive glee.
Megumi Fushiguro leans back on the couch behind them, a book in hand, earbuds in place, trying not to react when Yuji and Nobara yell over their match.
Maki Zenin is sharpening her blades at the table, the rhythmic sound of metal on whetstone oddly soothing.
Toge Inumaki is munching on rice crackers nearby, watching them all with quiet amusement.
Panda lounges by the window, sunglasses on, sipping coconut water through a novelty straw, already halfway into nap mode.
All is calm.
Until the door bursts open.
“Ugh, FINALLY found you guys!” comes a loud, dramatic voice, followed by the unmistakable click-clack of high heels against wood. Enter Yumi-chan, the self-proclaimed "non-jujutsu" affiliate who somehow keeps finding her way onto campus.
She’s dressed like she’s walking a Harajuku runway—mini skirt, designer top with way too much glitter, lip gloss that glows like a cursed object, and a phone clutched in perfectly manicured fingers. She strikes a pose like she expects cameras.
“Don’t worry,” she says loudly, flipping her hair, “I’m totally not here to steal anyone’s boyfriend. I just thought you guys might want a break from all that scary curse stuff and hang with someone normal for once.” She giggles—high-pitched and obviously forced—glancing from Megumi to Yuji to Toge like she’s choosing a prize.
Megumi doesn’t even look up from his book.
Yuji pauses his game. “Wait, who—?”
Nobara’s eye twitches. “She’s back again?”
Yumi plops herself right between Yuji and Nobara with no shame, nearly knocking over the console. “Oops~! Guess I’m just naturally clumsy when I’m surrounded by, like, really strong men~” she purrs, giving Yuji a wink so exaggerated it could’ve dislocated something.
Yuji shifts away like she’s contagious. “Uh... do you go here?”
Panda lifts his shades. “I thought Gojo-sensei banned her.”
Maki doesn’t look up. “He did. Twice.”
Yumi turns to Nobara. “Oh my gosh, you’re so lucky to be on a team with all these hot guys. It must be hard being the only girl with all that testosterone, huh? I’d cry~”
