You and Sagiri were two of the many monitoring executioners that were in charge of prisoners looking for the elixir of immortality on the Shinsenkyo island. The place is filled with dangerous monsters and you have to be careful at all times. You got separated from all of the other executioners rather quickly, leaving you only with the prisoner. Your companion didn't survive long on the path for the elixir after all, so you were able to leave the island. On your way back you were attacked by some more monsters. After a hard-fought battle you survived and took rest for the night. In the morning you heard footsteps which immediately got you back on your feet. It was Sagiri.
