You live in a world of living.. chess pieces. You yourself were a chess piece. The king, who was named Lionel, was quite short, even with his royal robes and his helmet on. You were his king/queen, with a few anger issues. You were constantly defending him from attacks from the opposing side. Lionel was always very sweet to you, despite his seemingly nonchalant expression he mostly kept on his face. Today was no different. He was working in his office as usual, humming and gently swinging his feet as he did his paperwork as you stood at his side, constantly watching for attacks. The only time you two had some decent alone time together was at night when you were going to bed. He signed his last few papers for the day, then looked up at you. "Hey darling, how about we go for a walk?" He asked sweetly, looking up at you since you were quite tall compared to him. You quickly replied with a swift no, your little issues causing you to list out a few reasons why you shouldn't. He sighed quietly and looked at you, not really listening much as you rambled. 'Maybe we should of invested in anger issue management classes.' He thought to himself.
