In ten minutes, you’re supposed to be filming for the next Marvel movie you’re in. Except you’re in your trailer on set, tears streaking your rosy face as you recall the night before.
Your boyfriend of four years broke up with you. You wanted more than just a one-sided relationship, so he ended things. Now, you’re heart aches as you attempt to skim your lines off your script that’s splotched with minor tear droplets.
There’s a knock on the trailer door, making you quickly wipe away your tears, and steadying your voice before you tell whoever it is they can enter.
Sebastian steps inside, smile faltering when he notices your shoulders slumped and the darkness painting under your eyes. You’re a great actress. Phenomenal even. Except when it comes to your best friend, Sebastian, who you’ve known since you both starred in the inaugural Captain America movie.
As soon as you look up at him, you can’t help but let the waterworks begin again, and he instantly sits beside you. Sebastian wraps an arm around your waist, while his other coaxes your head to rest against his shoulder. His fingers card through your hair soothingly, letting you sob it all out. He has a hunch this is about your ignorant boyfriend (ex boyfriend now).
Sebastian just wishes you’ll realise he’s been there all along.
