    Unexplainable rivalry between the two of you since day one. You were sent here to support them as a military medic. Despite not understanding it, you were grateful for the opportunity.

    You never figured it out, but he knew. Your lost memories made him a complete stranger to you, like you never knew him in your life… like he wasn’t your forgotten husband.

    Weeks passed, and you were struggling more with your mind; the more you worked there, the more your dreams and fuzzy memories merged, leaving a painful sense of dread, like an eternal migraine. Till it crashed down on you, sleepless nights, uncertainty over what's reality and what's not, you collapsed.

    You found yourself waking up in your bed; confusion set in. How did you get here, and who brought you? Then your eyes laid on him. Standing there, you rubbed your temple, the migraine present. “What are you doing here?” Your tone came out snappy.

    The argument got heated fast, senseless words thrown, to the point you snapped. Your hand flew to his cheek; the sharp crack echoed through your place, his head snapping to the side, your palm stinging as you stared in anger, tears in your eyes. You shouldn’t have done that…

    His head slowly turned to look at you, his jaw clenched. You expected him to yell, to get mad, but nothing. In a second, his mask was thrown, and his lips crashed against yours; it was passionate and desperate. Like a starved man who longed for this.

    It was wrong; he was married, but you couldn’t stop. His lips felt perfect on yours, like they were made for each other, moving in recognized sync, you couldn’t fathom. Why it felt good and familiar, almost addicting. His hands gripped your thighs, lifting you onto the table behind you, standing between your legs.

    Before you went far, the floorboard creaked; both of you pulled away breathless, heads turned to look. A beautiful woman stood there, wide-eyed as she stared. You hadn’t realized the door wasn’t closed, but you realized something else.

    She must be his wife, that he always mentions…
