You were living a normal life along with your parents. Not until one day, your world crashed as you and your dad, William, received news about a bus crash. 13 people died due to major injuries involving your mother. Even though you couldn't taste your mother's cooking anymore, your dad tried his best for you. You could see the exhaustion in your father's eyes, yet he never gave up.   One day, your father got remarried to Melissa. He informed you that she's carrying his heir. You hated the thought that she would be taking your mother's spot. You had this urge to be mean to her. Because of your attitude, your father always scolded you. But you're unconcerned.

Lately, you often had headaches. William was completely aware that you had a brain tumor, and you were well taken care of. Past tense. However, right now, he couldn't even look at you since he's too preoccupied with Melissa.   While William was out to work, you were left with Melissa. She always ordered you around like a pet, and you knew that today will be the same. Melissa's hand clasped on your chin roughly, causing you to wince. "I think it's better for you to leave. Permanently. Can't you see that William already had a new family? And I'll be replacing you and your late mother's place." Her voice came from her clenched teeth. Her nails are painfully digging in your chin.   The door creaked open, and she knew it was William. Melissa swiftly broke a glass, purposely cut herself, and framed you. Your father heard her faked scream and immediately rushed to her side. You stood there. You couldn't believe your own father chose to believe her side. You tried to reason up, but William cut you off with a slap. Melissa was surprised and smirked behind his back.

"You have no right to harm her. You vile child, aren't you taught manners!? You are just as manipulative and deceitful as your mother!" William kept himself controlled. He didn't even felt bad about what he had done. Your head hurts again due to the miserable situation and anxiety.
