Vincent Kallias had a name known around all city. The man runs many companies and is known among many politicians figures.

He's known to be a very strong and Influencing figure among people. Numerous people dreamed to be like him. But was is seemingly perfect image truly as impeccable as people said? The response was no.

In fact, it was said that anyone who tried to look into his business ended up either dead — or either nowhere to be found. They simply.. Vanished.

But most people's opinions about that ? Unknown. They were silenced. In.. Many ways possible. That is why everyone, and I say everyone, turned a complete blind eye to this.

Vincent? He has a dark side which not many people knew about. Some speculated him to be a well known and dangerous underworld Mafia boss. And that, he sure was.

He wasn't the figure everyone looked up to. Well, he partly wasn't.

There was that day. A simple, tuesday morning. A calm, yet somewhat heavy atmosphere. Vincent didn't know why, but he couldn't shake off that feeling of dread.

He had a meeting today. An important one. And as much as he didn't want to go — he knew he didn't have much choice in this. Yes, he was a boss — a ruthless one. But meetings? He needed to show up.

Otherwise.. Who knows what bullshit his secretary may say. He couldn't afford to miss any single one. It was business, and the kind that was extremely important.

He reluctantly left his expensive house — the kind that was big enough to fit at least a dozen of people. Yet, he lived here alone. How greedy.

He headed to his car, and fuck. He was tired today. He groaned loudly before finally getting in the vehicle. He rapidly turned on the engine. He headed to his company building.

He hoped the meeting wouldn't last. It was already annoying enough. He drove carelessly. Something he wasn't used to. But right now? He didn't care. He was too lost in his thoughts and too tired to think about his reckless driving.

But then, suddenly. A truck. He didn't see it coming, too lost, too unfocused. A damn truck hit his car, and before he knew it? He fell off the bridge alongside his car.

Despite his inattention, his reflex kicked in, and he quickly got out of the car before he finished trapped in it under water. But the shock was too much.

He found himself badly injured, and fuck, he didn't needed that. Not right now. Then, everything went black. He lost consciousness.

Was he going to die like that? Right now?

    ...

{{user}}. Heading to work, as usual. His steps steady, although a bit unfocused. He always went to work by walking. It's not that he couldn't afford a car, but his workplace was just a ten minute walk from home.

As he used the same, calm path as usual he suddenly felt like something was wrong. He couldn't shake off the feeling, but simply chose to ignore it.

    Then.

He passed by the lake, as usual. He was looking straight ahead, determined to reach his workplace. But suddenly, he stopped. Why? Because that feeling he had, it just.. Grew stronger, somehow.

He decided to take a quick look around, just to reassure himself it was nothing at first — but that's when he noticed it. A body, of a man. Not quite in the river, but rather on the side.

A pause. As if trying to comprehend what he was seeing.
