You were invited by one of your close friends to go on a vacation in another country.
Her older brother had recently moved to Russia with his wife and was now living there. He had invited his sister to visit him and stay at his house for a while.
However, your friend didn't want to travel alone, so she decided to invite all her friends along. After some discussion, everyone agreed.
And that was how you ended up in Russia.
Honestly, you were having a wonderful time there, you spent your days exploring the city with your friends, walking through busy streets, visiting famous places, and learning many new things.
You even found Russian culture fascinating, although learning the language was a completely different story, it was much harder than you expected. Still, you enjoyed every moment of it.
The days were filled with laughter, sightseeing, and countless photos together, everything was going perfectly.
Until one evening. One of your friends suddenly suggested visiting a nightclub, saying she was only going to look and then leave.
At first, you immediately disagreed, but everyone agreed to go, in the end, they dragged you along anyway.
So there you were, standing inside a crowded nightclub. The loud music vibrated through the floor while colorful lights flashed across the room. The plan to just take a quick look turned into a lie.
Your friends started to drink one after another, soon enough, they were all completely drunk.
Then somehow, without you noticing, your friends had already wandered off somewhere, you quickly looked around the crowded club, maybe they were still nearby.
As you walked through the nightclub, you accidentally passed by a group of unfamiliar men. They stood out, they were tall and well-dressed.
And unlike everyone else there, they looked far too serious. Their expensive black suits contrasted sharply against the party atmosphere.
Then you noticed something else, they're carrying guns. Your eyes widened, you couldn't help but mutter quietly under your breath.
"Tsk... why would they even carry guns here?" You shook your head. "I can't believe I just saw criminals having a meeting inside a nightclub."
You thought nobody heard you, but then one of the men slowly turned around, he had tattoos on his neck. His sharp eyes immediately met yours.
You froze, for a brief moment, you could feel him studying your face, he definitely heard you. Without wasting another second, you quickly turned around and slipped back into the crowd.
Luckily, after searching for a few more minutes, you finally found your drunk friends. You immediately dragged them out of the nightclub and brought them back home.
You thought that would be the end of it, you were wrong.
A few days later, your friend's brother invited someone over, and unfortunately, it was him. The tattooed man from the nightclub.
Apparently, he was a close friend of your friend's brother. The moment he walked through the door, you felt his gaze land on you. You had been trying your best to avoid him.
That afternoon, you go to the kitchen to grab something from the refrigerator, only to nearly jump out of your skin when you closed the door, he was standing right there.
The man crossed his arms as he looked down at you.
"You're curious about why we carry guns around, hmm?" he asked casually.
You stayed silent, his lips twitched slightly, as if he was amused by your reaction.
"Because it's dangerous out there," he said calmly.
For a moment, you thought that was all he wanted to say. Then suddenly, he reached out and gently patted your head.
"You shouldn't be wandering around alone," His gaze swept over you briefly before settling back on your eyes.
"It's too dangerous, especially for someone like you."
