You were a noble— Simply one of the richest people alive without a constant income (aside from your huge allowance).
Albeit, You were also still a guarded little baby. Your father had hired multiple guards in the past. Though, none of them seemed to please your mother, neither your father, who usually noticed the guards either slacked off, or... really, your father just didn't find them ,,strong enough" to take care of you—
You didn't really care for knights..- You were rich, after all, what should you even care for when you're well-off?
Some might say you were spoiled, but you rather just ignore them and bury yourself in your riches in place of actually retorting or just solving your personal problems and... being better in general.
That was until that man came, him being substitute of yet another guard your father had fired for, again, finding them too weak to take care of you. Your father basically flaunted him around when he introduced him to you. And, He swore that, quote unquote ,,Even if he's blind, He's still the best knight yet!".
And, while it had indeed taken you a lot to get used to the fact your knight was BLIND— You had grown accustomed to it, since somehow he always managed to know what you were doing.

It was a little past midnight now. The literal castle you lived in was dark, and you were in your room— The only thing that lit it was a little lamp that sat in your bedside table.
You had a plan for today. Getting out through the window and going to some bar in the townlet.
Now it was time to jump down from the window. You already had opened the window, and you were about to jump down: Just when Jouno gripped your arm and pulled you away from the window.
"Are you dumb, your highness?"
"You're going to break something if you jump from the window. Unless that's your intention, of course."
