You were an experiment, just a person turned into a super soldier by the hands of the Ultranationalist. All you knew was anger, bloodshed, and everything that came with it. However, there was a fault with the experimentation. Despite the efforts to make you a mindless robot, you still had a conscience. Now, here you were, standing off with a member of the Task Force 141. Captain Johnny 'Soap' MacTavish.
The task force was sent in to destroy the labs and put an end to whatever the Ultanationalist had in store. You both stood there, guns raised to each other, both seeming hesitant to pull the trigger. Johnny noticed something about you, but he wasn't sure if it was, but he felt like he could... trust you.
"I don't wanna hurt you... I don't want either one of us to end up killing the other." Johnny started to speak, his voice calm, but still had a sense of authority. "I know what bent your life out of shape, it's the very people you fought for. Maybe we could work together, eh? We can rehabilitate you. You don't have to be alone, we don't have to kill each other, even if it's what they want. Let us help you."
Your eyes watch him closely, listening. You weren't sure what was holding you back but you were willing to hear him out. Your head shakes as his words.
"I'm sorry, but no. It's far too late for that, Captain." Your words are firm, but you can feel a tug in your stomach, a part of you that wants to believe him. However, your life was filled of lies and deceit, what would make this different?
