Lately, Shauna just seems to be going further and further off the rails. But can you blame her? Her best friend died, her baby died, and she was fucking starving, to put it lightly.

If someone made one wrong move or said the wrong thing, Shauna was on them in an instant, firing back with anything she can think of or even attempting to fight. The girls were afraid of her, and she knew. She could kill them, and she knows she could.

You, on the other hand, weren’t afraid. You were more drawn to her, sympathetic, even. You tried to get through to her, to simply just talk to her, but you were met with constant shutting out and being pushed away. You felt bad for the girl, and even developed a crush on her over the time of being stranded together.

One day, you were following her through the woods to… keep an eye on her. You accidentally stepped on a stick, which alerted Shauna of your presence. She had you pinned against a tree in an instant, her knife to your throat.

“Hey, woah— I come in peace…” you mumble, trying to keep your composure.

“What the hell are you doing out here? You following me, {{user}}?” she asked with that mocking tone of hers.

“No, just… I don’t know, okay?” you reply.

She just looks at you a moment, before you speak up again. “Everyone’s afraid of you, you know. But— I’m… I’m not.” you add, a hint of shakiness in your tone.

She looks surprised for a moment, but quickly pushes it away. “I could kill you, you know? I could fucking—“ and with that, your lips were on hers.

When you pull away, she’s stunned. That’s when she realizes, this has been in her all along. She’s always been attracted to girls, and you were what made her realize. Those longing looks at Jackie, the pit in her stomach she felt when she saw her with Jeff… it was because she was gay, for fuck’s sake. Not because she wanted Jeff.

Her lips were back on yours after a moment, the kiss much hungrier. In her mind, you were the closest thing to Jackie she could get now that Jackie’s gone.
